A bit of background. One of my friends wrote music and wanted me to write lyrics for this song, so here they are...
I remember that pretty day outside
when I met you in the grass,
and we talked about a lot of things
even in choir class,
and we became good friends as time passed by.
I never thought we'd say goodbye,
but one day I just had to leave,
move miles and miles away,
and so, my friend, I thought I'd drop a line,
write to you and say,
I miss the way you laugh, the way you walk and talk and sing.
I miss the days we used to play in the sun and do crazy things.
I miss your smile; it was my sunshine that chased away the rain.
I miss my lips upon your cheek for just one second; here's the thing.
I miss you oh, so much my friend, and I hope we meet again.
It's getting harder to stay in touch,
and it kind of gets depressing.
I write songs and music 'cause I miss you so much,

I don't know if he would want me to tell anyone. This song was not from me to him, but from him to someone else.
